The best thing I can say about this is that it is indeed sturdy...too sturdy. If you have weak hands or hand/wrist joint issues, get help setting it up. I hurt my bad hand trying to do it alone, cause it wouldnt bend at all to get it locked in place. I doubt I'll be able to get it beyond the lowest arch level, even with using my knees to brace it like the picture directions show. I suggest getting some help and trying to bend the board a bit a few times before trying to fit it onto the support base. That being said, it's not bad to use once you can get it set up. I wasnt sure about the pressure points but they're not uncomfy to lie on.
